A fire Saturday night in Prescott Valley saw over $350,000 worth of meat go up in smoke.
The Prescott Fire Department, Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office responded around 10 p.m. to a report of a semi-trailer on fire near Coyote Springs Road.
Upon arrival, it was discovered a refrigeration trailer, storing more than $350,000 worth of meat for a charity and a restaurant in Prescott Valley, was fully engulfed in flames. The initial investigation did not reveal anything suspicious.
The cause of the fire is unknown, and the name of the charity or the restaurant were not released. CAFMA is investigating this incident.
