City Boards and Commissions Need New Members

There are vacancies on several Prescott city boards and commissions that need to be filled. The community development block grants citizens advisory committee has seven available seats. Four new members are needed for the industrial development authority. Three vacant seats have to be filled on the fire board of appeals. The planning and zoning commission, board of adjustment, and building advisory and appeals board each have two open seats, and the Prescott preservation commission, public safety personnel and retirement system police board, and public safety personnel and retirement system fire board each have one opening.

These are volunteer positions appointed by the city council. Those interested in serving on any of these boards and commissions must submit an application to the city clerk’s office by January 26th.
