The Prescott Mountain Bike Alliance has received a grant to assist in the development of a new trail. The Arizona State Parks and Trails Board approved a $120,000 grant for the Bean Peaks Gravity Flow System. When completed, the flow trail network will span 17 miles in length.
According to Prescott National Forest officials, this type of trail will offer one-way, bike-optimized trails featuring tabletops, rollers, berms, and technical rock features that enhance the user’s flow experience, allowing for increased speeds and the opportunity to jump the same features that can be rolled over. The proposed trail will be situated four miles north of downtown Prescott in the National Forest.
