Prescott Boys Basketball Tops Coconino

In all their games so far this month, the Prescott boys basketball team has pulled off convincing wins, dispatching all their opponents by double-digits. Tuesday, however, would find the Badgers in much different circumstances. Coconino came to the Dome and gave Prescott all they could handle. Both teams were neck and neck throughout the entire night, but in the end, the Badgers held on for the 67-63 triumph.

Another big night for Uriah Tenette as he tallied 39 points for Prescott. He is the leading scorer in the state for all conferences, averaging just under 32 points per game. In addition, Tenette is 25th in the entire nation in scoring among high school basketball players.

Prescott is back in action tomorrow for part two of the rivalry series. They are at Bradshaw Mountain for a 7 p.m. tip-off, and we will livestream that game on and on the KYCA Facebook page.
