Rock blasting is back this week on I-17.

ADOT is advising motorists to plan for overnight lane closures and restrictions on I-17 through Saturday morning as construction continues between Anthem Way and Sunset Point. I-17 will be closed in both directions between Coldwater Road and Sunset Point from 10 to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for controlled rock blasting. Expect delays of at least one hour and backups of about two miles.

Lane restrictions will continue through Saturday morning.
