The Prescott area is in store for some nice weather… at least for the first half of the week.

According to the National Weather Service, skies will be sunny to partly cloudy through Wednesday with highs in the low 60s. Then there will be a change in the weather Thursday with rain starting in the morning, then a rain and snow mix is expected Thursday night into Friday. Snow showers could linger into Saturday morning, but by Sunday, all the nasty weather should move out of the Tri-City area. Temperatures during the weekend are not expected to get above 50 degrees.
