The Iron Springs Trailhead on the Bradshaw Ranger District will be closed for two days as the Yavapai County Public Works Department will be improving public access.
The construction will consist of improving/replacing the deteriorated paved apron that provides access to the trailhead from Iron Springs Road. This will improve access and roadway safety for recreationists and motorists.
Crews will begin on Monday, January 29th, and finish on Tuesday, January 30th, if no unexpected delays are encountered. The trailhead will be closed to the public while these improvements occur. Trail users should plan accordingly and look for alternate trail recreation opportunities.
It is critical that trail users refrain from parking anywhere along roadways adjacent to the trailhead during the construction timeline to ensure the safety for themselves and motorists on Iron Springs Roadway.
