The Bradshaw Mountain girls soccer team traveled to Flagstaff Tuesday, aiming for their first win in Grand Canyon Region play. Their opponent . . . Coconino, who came into the contest with a 1-1-2 record in the region. The Lady Panthers shut down the Lady Bears’ offense throughout the first half. But in the second half, Charlize Ingoglia found the back of the net on a free kick to finally put Bradshaw Mountain on the board. Try as they might, the Lady Bears were unable to score again in the match and wound up taking the 3-1 loss.
That puts Bradshaw’s overall record at 4-10-1 on the season. They are 0-4-1 in Grand Canyon Region play and ranked number 27 in power points in the 4-A conference.
Only one more game remains on the Lady Bears’ schedule. They are in Kingman tomorrow to face Lee Williams.
