Minor injuries were reported in a three-vehicle accident in Chino Valley on Wednesday morning. Chino Valley officers responded to the incident at the intersection of Highway 89 and Road 2 South just before 7:30 a.m. According to officers’ findings, a white 1997 Chevrolet pickup, driven by a 21-year-old from Prescott Valley, attempted to make a westward turn onto Road 2 South during a yellow light. A silver 2008 Toyota Sienna van, driven by a 17-year-old from Chino Valley, proceeded southbound through the intersection and was struck by the pickup. Subsequently, the van spun and collided with a gray 1999 Toyota Camry, driven by a 16-year-old from Chino Valley, which was stopped for the red light on West Road 2 South.
All drivers received on-site treatment.
