It was a wet Thursday for Yavapai County. According to the County Flood Control District, Yarnell received 1.89 inches of precipitation. Black Canyon City got 1.34 inches, while Cordes Junction had just over an inch of precipitation. Sedona received 0.91 inches, Bagdad got 0.87 inches, and downtown Prescott had 0.83 inches. Prescott Gateway Mall and Camp Verde both received 0.71 inches, while Lynx Lake got 0.67 inches. Goldwater Lake had just over a half-inch of precipitation, and Outer Loop Road received 0.39 inches. Prescott Country Club got 0.35 inches, and Prescott Valley, Watson Lake, Thumb Butte, and Cottonwood all had 0.31 inches. Willow Lake and Williamson Valley both received 0.28 inches. Mingus Mountain and Seligman both had just under a quarter-inch of precipitation, and Chino Valley received 0.16 inches of precipitation.
Another wet one is on tap for today in the Prescott area as the National Weather Service is forecasting a 30 percent chance of rain and snow showers.
