2/8/24
It’s the final week of the regular season for high school basketball, so let’s see how our local teams are faring in the state power point rankings. The Prescott boys hold the number seven spot in the 4A Conference, but they are also number 24 in the rankings for the Open Division, which includes 4A, 5A, and 6A schools.
Meanwhile, Bradshaw Mountain is once again a lock for the playoffs as they hold the number 17 seed in the 4A. Over on the girls’ side, Prescott will be going to the post-season dance as they are number 16 in the 4A Conference. Bradshaw Mountain, however, is on the outside looking in as they are one spot away from the final post-season seed. They are number 25, and the top 24 make state.
In the 3A Conference, unfortunately, no state tournament play for Chino Valley. The boys are number 34, and the girls are number 36.
