This week has brought a lot of rain and a lot of snow to Yavapai County. When that snow melts, your property could be at risk of flooding. Yavapai County emergency management officials want to remind everyone that they do have free sandbags available for the public. You can pick them up at any Prescott Fire Department and Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority station. Sandbags are also available at the Yavapai County Public Works Yard at 1100 Commerce Drive in Prescott.

While the sandbags are free, you do have to fill them yourself.
