The Oatman Fire District in Mohave County is the recipient of a Type 1 fire engine donated by the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA). This donation comes as part of the agency’s commitment to working with fire agencies, both locally and statewide, to improve emergency response readiness.
The donated engine is a 2003 HME with a 1,500 gallon per minute pump and a 750-gallon water tank. Previously serving as CAFMA’s training engine at the Central Arizona Regional Training Academy, this vehicle will strengthen the Oatman Fire District’s mission to serve its community effectively by enhancing its emergency response capabilities.
