Another fugitive from Yavapai Silent Witness’ Catch 22 program is now in custody. Adakai Junior Anderson, the Day 19 fugitive, turned himself in at the Camp Verde Jail on February 19th.
Acting on several anonymous tips, law enforcement officers attempted to locate Anderson at a business in Page, however he was able to sneak away. Due to the public’s tips and the pressure from law enforcement, Anderson surrendered to authorities.
On November 13, 2021, Anderson was arrested by the Page Police Department for two counts Assault-Intent/Reckless/Injure, four counts Domestic Violence, and two counts Disorderly Conduct-Fighting. On January 26, 2022, he was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. Anderson had violated the terms and conditions of his probation and a nationwide felony warrant had been issued for his arrest.
He is currently being held that the Yavapai County Jail await his next court appearance.
