Prescott Baseball Pounds Paradise Honors in Extras

2/27/24

The Prescott baseball team had a 3-0 lead after four innings of play at Paradise Honors Monday. Then the Panthers came back to tie the score in the seventh inning. That sent the game into extra innings, and that’s when the Badgers’ bats got hotter than the surface of the sun. Prescott exploded for nine runs in the ninth inning and got the better of Paradise Honors 12-3.

Ryan Elliott had a two-run home run for the Badgers. Jack Burton went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Colton Champion also had two RBIs and scored two runs, and Nick Martin scored three runs. Travis Gates was the winning pitcher, throwing three scoreless innings and striking out two.

Prescott is 2-0 on the season. They are in action tomorrow for their home opener versus Arcadia. First pitch is 3 PM.
