No slow start for the Bradshaw Mountain softball team. It was more like an explosive start. In Tuesday’s season opener, the Lady Bears scored six runs in the first two innings. They kept tacking on runs the rest of the way and mercy-ruled Estrella Foothills by a final score of 11-0.

Amry Soriano homered and drove in four runs for Bradshaw. Kodee Statler had three RBIs. Eliza Legge tossed a one-hitter, striking out six. She also went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs.

The Lady Bears are back in action today at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale. Then on Friday, Bradshaw is on the road again at Paradise Honors. Next Wednesday, the Lady Bears are back home to take on Greenway.
