Playing in her hometown seemed to inspire Hailey Stevenson. The Las Vegas native and the rest of her teammates from the Embry-Riddle women’s golf team took part in the Trailblazer Invitational at TPC Summerlin in Vegas Monday and Tuesday. Stevenson put together two great days on the green, shooting a 78 in day one and a 74 in day two. Her total score of 152 gave her a second place finish individually.

As a team, Embry-Riddle also finished second at the Trailblazer with a 639. Oklahoma City University won the invite with a score of 615. Maisey Alsen finished in eighth place with a score of 158. Libby Axen – last year’s conference champion – tied for 12th with a 162. Kaitlin Halseth tied for 18th with a 167, and Charlotte Griffin tied for 38th with a 180.

Next up for the Lady Eagles, they are in Buckeye March 18th and 19th for the Showdown at Sundance.
