The Bradshaw Mountain softball team built up a sizeable lead late in the game, holding an 8-2 advantage over Scottsdale Saguaro Wednesday. But in the bottom of the sixth, the Lady Sabercats pulled to within one of the Lady Bears. In the seventh, Saguaro plated two more runs for the 9-8 walk-off win.

Amry Soriano went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Bradshaw Mountain. Payton Hoops went 3-for-3 and scored two runs. Kodee Statler doubled and drove in a run.

The Lady Bears are now 1-1 on the young season. They are on the road at Paradise Honors tomorrow for their third game of the week. Next Wednesday, Bradshaw Mountain returns home to take on Greenway. After that, the squad competes in the West Valley Invitational at Tolleson High School March 14th through the 16th.
