Prescott’s household hazardous waste collection begins Monday. This is open to residential trash customers only. In order to take part in the pick-up, you must pre-register at PrescottRecycles.com. Curbside pickup of household hazardous materials will take place through March 29th.

Acceptable items include pesticides, gasoline, car batteries, drain and oven cleaners, bleaches, oil-based paints, adhesives, and lithium batteries. All items need to be in a box labeled HHW and placed in front of your home six to ten feet up from your curb so it can be easily seen by the contractor on your scheduled pick-up day.
