The FY ’24 Micro Seal Preservation Project on Willow Creek Road is set to begin next Monday.

City of Prescott and its contractor, Southwest Slurry Seal, will start off by removing a thin layer of the existing pavement. Other elements of the project include crack sealing and applying a micro seal treatment to extend pavement life to the asphalt pavement along Willow Creek Road from Green Lane/Pulliam Drive to just south of Iron Springs Road/Whipple Street.

This is a fast-moving project that should be finished by end of May 2024. Work is scheduled for weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the northbound lanes, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the southbound lanes. One lane of traffic will always be open in each direction. Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra time when traveling through the project corridor.
