April is the time to clean up Mayer. Yavapai County is hosting a community cleanup event throughout the month of April. Yavapai County residents can drop off their trash free of charge at the Mayer Yard next to the Mayer Transfer Station at 11130 South Antelope Creek Road on April 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Items that will be accepted include household appliances, bagged household trash, automotive batteries, tires, furniture, and yard trimmings. Items that will not be accepted include loose trash, liquids, hazardous materials, cars, Ni-Cad batteries, and dead animals.

The Mayer community cleanup is for residential customers only.
