A woman who stole $30,000 from a Cottonwood business has been sentenced. Elaine Vowell will spend the next ten years in prison for nine counts of fraud, theft, and forgery.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, the 42-year-old Vowell worked at Noah’s Ark Roofing, where she used the company credit card to make unauthorized purchases and rerouted checks from several customers into her personal account.
The crimes occurred between 2021 and 2022.
