A man from Rimrock died Sunday after becoming trapped under a tractor.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called by a concerned citizen who had been unable to reach his neighbor by phone for some time. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies and the concerned citizen found a tractor against a chain-link fence with the victim trapped under the rear tire. Tools were discovered on the ground and under the body, suggesting he was likely working on the tractor when the accident occurred.

The victim’s name has not been released.
