Prescott Revising its Flood Maps

The City of Prescott is revising its flood maps. City staff has remapped the floodplain for nine linear miles of streams. The updated flood maps provide detailed, property-specific flood risk data to help residents and business owners better understand their risk of flooding and aid in building and flood insurance decisions. A link to the new flood maps can be found online at flood map.

You will also have the opportunity to check out the maps at a flood risk open house April 1st at the Rowle Simmons Community Center at 1280 East Rosser Street from 4 to 7 PM.
