The City of Prescott is revising its flood maps. City staff has remapped the floodplain for nine linear miles of streams. The updated flood maps provide detailed, property-specific flood risk data to help residents and business owners better understand their risk of flooding and aid in building and flood insurance decisions. A link to the new flood maps can be found online at prescott-az.gov/backslash flood map.

You will also have the opportunity to check out the maps at a flood risk open house April 1st at the Rowle Simmons Community Center at 1280 East Rosser Street from 4 to 7 PM.
