Crews have begun work on the Lynx Mastication project in the Lynx Lake recreation area. The project area is approximately 95 acres in size along the Walker Road corridor. Heavy equipment is being used to grind dead and down vegetation, shrubs, and brush.

No trail closures are anticipated, however, visitors are urged to exercise caution while recreating near the work area.
