A car crash in Prescott Valley on Friday caused a power outage and a wildfire. According to Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority officials, a vehicle veered off the road at the intersection of Windsong Drive and Civic Circle and struck an APS box. Along with knocking out power in the area, it also started a small wildfire. CAFMA quickly extinguished the blaze, and APS crews responded to the scene to restore power.

The driver was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
