Local scoreboard from yesterday, in baseball, Chino Valley and Wickenburg played to a 9-9 tie in the top of the ninth. The game will resume tomorrow. Mayer lost to Ash Fork/Seligman 14-4 and 16-1.

Softball, Chino Valley got shutout by Wickenburg 9-0.

Golf, at the Embry-Riddle Spring Invitational, both the Eagles and Lady Eagles won it all. Kaetlin Halseth placed first for the women and Jordan Garypie finished second for the men.

A big award for an Embry-Riddle softball player. Leah Salas was named the Cal Pac Player of the Week. She had four home runs and eleven RBIs in the Lady Eagles’ four-game sweep of St. Katherine.
