It was a year in which numerous maintenance issues were finally addressed. Officials at Prescott’s Sharlot Hall Museum released their 2023 year in review. Some of the improvement projects completed included the replacement of the roofs for the Sharlot Hall Building and the Research Library, the stormwater project for the Mercantile Plaza, and emergency tree removal. The museum still needs to perform upgrades to the Noggle Building and the Lawler Building.

Museum officials also reported that more than 22,000 people visited the Sharlot Hall Museum in 2023. Additionally, there were over 1,400 attendees for the museum’s children’s programs.
