Easter Sunday brought rain and snow to Yavapai County. According to the County Flood Control District, Bagdad received 1.14 inches of precipitation. Sedona got 0.71 inches. Black Canyon City had 0.67 inches. White Spar Campground and Mayer both had 0.55 inches. Mingus Mountain and Cordes Junction both received just over a half-inch of precipitation. Goldwater Lake, Prescott Country Club, and Camp Verde all got 0.43 inches. Downtown Prescott, Outer Loop Road, and Cottonwood all had 0.39 inches. Prescott Gateway Mall and Fain Lake both received 0.35 inches. Prescott Valley got 0.31 inches. Williamson Valley had just under a quarter-inch of precipitation. Watson Lake and Chino Valley both got 0.20 inches, and Willow Lake had 0.12 inches of precipitation.
The Prescott area is in store for another wet one today as the National Weather Service is forecasting an 80 percent chance of rain and snow showers.
