The public can give its input on the planned cleanup of the Del Pasco Mine in Crown King. Officials with the Prescott National Forest will accept public comments on the project from April 8 to June 7. The land surrounding the mine contains elevated levels of heavy metals, and Forest Service officials are exploring the best cleanup methods. Public comments regarding the Del Pasco Mine cleanup can be emailed to hailey.stock@usda.gov.
