On Monday, the Bradshaw Mountain girls tennis team notched an 8-1 victory over Peoria. Twenty-four hours later, the Lady Bears were back in action, this time up in Flagstaff to take on Coconino. The back-to-back matches did not seem to tire out Bradshaw as they dominated this contest as well, chalking up another 8-1 victory.
The closest match of the day was in doubles, as Sasha Messerly and Penelope Lira got the 9-7 win. Kaylene Osoria also had a good battle with her opponent, winning her singles match 6-3 and 6-4. Osoria also got a very convincing win in doubles with her partner, Lucy Keyes, final score 8-0. Keyes also won her singles match 6-2 and 6-4. Bradshaw’s number one, Taylor Coyl, got the 6-2 and 6-1 win in singles.
The Lady Bears have won three of their last four matches and are now 5-6 on the season. They host Flagstaff tomorrow.
