Game and Fish Says Leave Baby Animals Alone

With the weather warming up, you can expect to see baby animals roaming around the Tri-City area. The Arizona Game and Fish Department has a message for you: leave them alone. This includes young wild animals who appear abandoned. While some people will have an inclination to help them, most young animals are actually not abandoned, and their parents will come back for them later.

If you do come across an animal that appears sick or injured, or if there is evidence that its parent is dead, contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
