A Yavapai College men’s basketball player is headed to the D-1 ranks. Sophomore Ray Glasgow announced his commitment to Tennessee Tech University.
Glasgow, a native of the Bronx, New York, came to Yavapai College this past season after spending time at Benedict College and Seward County Community College.
In 28 games for the Roughriders, Glasgow averaged 20 points per game, putting him third in the ACCAC in that category. He also had 115 rebounds, 73 assists, and 34 steals. Glasgow also had a 41-point game versus Pima on February 10th. All those stats earned Glasgow a spot on the All-Conference First Team.
In a release from Yavapai College, Glasgow said, “I’m grateful for my time at Yavapai and to Coach Davis for bringing me into the program . . . I’m excited for the next chapter in my basketball career.”
