PVPD Warns Against Leaving Dogs in Cars

Every Summer, as temperatures rise, so does the danger of pets dying because careless owners leave them in a hot car.

Prescott Valley Police Spokeswoman Jodi Mullins tells The News animals react differently to extreme heat:

Mullins says if you see a pet left in a hot car, call the non-emergency number for your local police department or animal control, and wait by the car for them to arrive.
