The Bradshaw Mountain volleyball team had a long bus ride to Bullhead City Tuesday to take on Mohave. The match, however, did not take long to play. The Lady Bears smoked Mohave in the first set 25-6. The Lady Thunderbirds started to make a game of it, but Bradshaw still played strong, winning set two 25-14 and set three 25-15 for the sweep.
Ava Lee had a great night behind the line, delivering eight ace serves. She also made seven digs. Emma Johnson served six aces. Jenna Lys made eight digs, and Kalli Smith notched five kills.
That puts Bradshaw Mountain’s record at 1-1 on the season. They are back in action tonight, but don’t have to travel. The Lady Bears are home for a match against Cactus at 6 pm. They also have another home match Thursday versus Estrella Foothills.
