Next week is the perfect opportunity for Dewey-Humboldt residents to get rid of their trash and yard debris. The town is putting on its fall clean-up days. It begins next Monday and runs through next Thursday.
Items that will be accepted include furniture, televisions, and residential construction material. For those bringing yard clippings, they must be bagged. Items that will not be accepted include tires, oils, hazardous chemicals, paint, refrigerators and freezers with Freon canisters attached, household trash, propane tanks, and batteries.
Dumpsters will be set up at the town lot at 12938 East Main Street and the maintenance yard at the intersection of Azurite Street and Third Street. Drop-offs will be accepted between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. This service is for Dewey-Humboldt residents only.
