It was one of those days when every single shot counted. The Prescott boys golf team was in Glendale on Tuesday for a four-way meet, where they took on three Division One teams. All four squads were in contention for the top spot for most of the day, and in the end, Prescott—a Division Two school—eked out the win with a 149 to Sandra Day O’Connor’s 150. Desert Ridge shot a 157, and Desert Vista brought up the rear with a 160.
Individually, the Badgers claimed the top two spots in the meet, with Jonathan Tso shooting a 33 and Jackson Carr posting a 35. Jacob Patterson was tenth with a 40, freshman Tyler Blanchard came in 14th place with a 41, and Zane Gaul shot a 46—good for 20th place.
Prescott is back in action Friday when they take part in the Anthem Invitational.
