Sanchez’s Big Game Powers CVHS Boys Soccer Past HP West

They wanted to end the month of September on a positive note, and they did just that. The Chino Valley boys soccer team took their home pitch Monday to face Highland Prep West. It was a game where Angel Sanchez was fully in charge of the offense. Not only did he score two goals, he also registered four assists to help the Cougars overpower the Hornets 6-2.

Kevan Ayala also had two goals for Chino. Chris Estrada found the back of the net once, and the guy who needs no nickname, Trypp Challenger, notched a goal.

This was the first game of the season where the Cougars allowed more than one goal. Chino Valley is now 6-0 in its power point games. They are off the rest of the week and do not play again until October ninth. That’s when they host Snowflake.
