Some Local Teams Looking Good in Post-Season Positions

With the regular season winding down, some of our local teams are in good shape when it comes to qualifying for the post-season.

According to the latest power point rankings from the AIA, for football, in the 4A Conference, Prescott is number seven, while Bradshaw Mountain is number 12. The top 16 teams make the state playoffs, with the top eight having a first round home game. If the playoffs began today, the Badgers would host number ten Walden Grove and the Bears would travel to number five Mica Mountain.

For flag football, Prescott is still number one in the 4A Conference, with Bradshaw Mountain number 31 and Mayer number 37. If the playoffs began today, the Lady Badgers would host number 16 Page.

In volleyball, in the 4A Conference, Prescott is number 13 and Bradshaw Mountain is number 15, putting them in the state play-in round. If that started today, the Lady Badgers would host number 20 Douglas and the Lady Bears would host number 18 Paradise Honors.
