The Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team entered the Division One ranks last night when they traveled to Flagstaff to battle NAU. The Eagles were right there with the Lumberjacks throughout the first half and trailed by ten points going into halftime. But in the second half, Northern Arizona lit up the scoreboard, while limiting Riddle to just 19 points. When the final horn sounded, the Lumberjacks got the 82-47 victory over the Eagles. Freshman Noah Gifft led Embry-Riddle in scoring with 15 points. Conner Ivy registered ten points. Peter Dress tallied eight points.
Embry-Riddle hits the road again this Friday and Saturday as they head to Caldwell, Idaho, for the Domino’s Classic, where they will play Eastern Oregon and the College of Idaho. Next Monday, the Eagles face Idaho State in an exhibition game. They return home on December second versus Stanton University.
