The Prescott National Forest has hired a new district ranger for the Bradshaw and Chino Valley Ranger District.
Bobbi Filbert began her position as district ranger on October 21. Filbert comes from Salmon, Idaho, where she served as district ranger on the Salmon-Cobalt and Leadore Ranger Districts on the Salmon-Challis National Forest. She began her Forest Service career in 1995 as a wildlife technician with the White River National Forest in Minturn, Colorado.
Filbert received a B.A. in zoology from UC Santa Barbara and completed her graduate work in environmental sciences at UC Santa Cruz.
