For the second time this season, the Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team went up against a Division I opponent in an exhibition game. Monday night, the Eagles were in Pocatello to take on Idaho State. The Bengals stormed through the first half, putting up 53 points to the Eagles’ 19. Riddle picked up its offense a little more in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as Idaho State secured the 97-46 win.
Christian Wells led the Eagles in scoring with eight points. Peter Dress notched seven points, and Jake Klingler added five points.
Embry-Riddle is off through the Thanksgiving holiday and will not play again until December 5 when they host Stanton University. The Eagles also have another home game on December 17 against Grace College.
