After two blowout wins to begin the season, the Prescott girls basketball team had its first competitive game of the year. The Lady Badgers began play at the Mountain Ridge Invitational yesterday, taking on Ironwood. Prescott pulled away from the Eagles to secure a 67-51 win. Their second game of the day was nowhere near as close, as the Lady Badgers dominated Centennial 69-16. No stats were available prior to airtime.
Prescott finishes its time at the Mountain Ridge Invitational today. The Lady Badgers will take the rest of the week off and return to action on December 5 when they host Deer Valley. Prescott has another home game on December 7 against Sunnyslope. The Lady Badgers then have only two more games during December—on the 10th at ALA Gilbert North and on the 23rd against St. Mary’s at the Footprint Center in Phoenix.
