Prescott City Clerk’s Office will begin the next regular election cycle process on January 6th for the August 5, 2025 Primary Election. The city holds its elections in odd numbered years
Council Seats up for Election are:
Mayor Phil Goode and city council members Connie Cantelme, Brandon Montoya, and Eric Moore.
Anyone interested in learning more about serving on City Council and running for office must schedule a Candidate Meeting with the City Clerk to obtain a Candidate Handbook and submit a Candidate Statement of Interest before circulating Nomination Petitions. The Nomination Filing Period for the 2025 Primary Election l begins March 10 and closes April 7.
The City Clerk’s Office will utilize the Secretary of State’s Office online petition portal system beginning with the 2025 election cycle.
