One final game in 2024 for the Prescott boys’ basketball team, and this one was for the consolation championship at the Damien Classic. The Badgers took on Redwood on Monday to close out their time in California.
It was a game where Coach Travis Stedman decided to limit court time for his starters to rest their legs and give the bench a chance to show what they can do. Prescott fell to the Giants 59-46. Uriah Tenette put up 19 points for the Badgers, Zane Gaul netted 17 points, and Cooper Magnett tallied eight points.
Tenette was one of 16 players selected to the Damien Classic All-Tournament team. The Badgers ended the tournament 2-2.
Up next for Prescott . . . another tournament. They are in the Valley Thursday through Saturday for the Nike Tournament of Champions. The Badgers resume power point games on January 7 when they host Coconino.
