Electrical work is being performed on the new solid waste scales at the City of Prescott’s solid waste facility. Work on the fee booth and underground utilities are also continuing.
Motorists traveling through this stretch of Sundog Ranch Road may encounter rough road conditions, reduced speeds, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic. Access to the Peavine Trail and Yavapai Humane Society will be maintained during this project, but the recycling bins at the transfer station are temporarily closed.
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday. The project should be finished sometime this winter.
