Local scoreboard from the weekend: In baseball, Yavapai College won two of three from Eastern Arizona. In the first game, Traig Oughton threw his second no-hitter of the season. Embry-Riddle got swept in back-to-back doubleheaders by Morningside. Blake Moore had a home run and five RBIs in the series. Prescott went 1-3 at the Pinal County Tournament. At the Cougar Classic, Bradshaw Mountain went 1-1 in its final two games, and Chino Valley got a tie and a loss in its final two games.
In softball, Yavapai College took three of four from Central Arizona. Tamryn Tucker drove in five runs in the second game. At the Tucson Invitational Games, Embry-Riddle lost to Madonna 6-2 and topped St. Francis 9-6.
In track and field, at the Thunder Invitational, Chino Valley’s Zoi Nagel won the girls 3,200-meter run.
