More lane restrictions are planned for this week along I-17 through Yavapai County. The interstate between New River Road and Sunset Point will be narrowed to one lane starting at either 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. and lasting until either 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. through Saturday to accommodate bridge work, electrical work, the installation and removal of concrete barriers, and catch basin construction.
Motorists traveling through this stretch of the interstate should allow for extra time to reach their destination and be alert for construction personnel and equipment. This is part of the I-17 improvement project, which should be completed later this year.
