The Prescott Fire Department recently acquired some new equipment. Firefighters now have two different kinds of gas detectors to use on calls. One type is used to detect leaks in appliances and piping, the other is a four-gas meter primarily used to detect carbon monoxide.
These gas detectors were purchased using grant money from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.
