Work on the new fee booth and scales at the City of Prescott’s Solid Waste Facility is done and the equipment is ready for use. Crews are still performing miscellaneous work such as gutter installation, drainage improvements, and putting up new signage.
Motorists traveling through this stretch of Sundog Ranch Road may encounter reduced speeds, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic. Access to the Peavine Trail and Yavapai Humane Society is being maintained, but the recycling bins at the transfer station are temporarily closed.
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday. The project should be finished sometime this spring.
